<h2><strong>Office rents fell 16% Q-o-Q</strong></h2><p>In 2Q 2017, Yangon Office Rental Index fell 16% quarter-on-quarter and 12% year-on-year. As compared to its peak at 2Q 2013, the index had fallen 48%. The current asking rent in Yangon is about US$40-50 per square meter per month, which is far more reasonable than that in the peak where the asking rent could go up to US$90 per square meter per month.
