Europe’s aggressive push towards consumer privacy rights has the potential to disrupt the business models of many large tech firms (i.e. Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.). Enforcement is likely to create significant headline risk for big tech companies. The implications of adding AI capabilities to wearables is potentially game changing.
