Vietnam Vs. Korea (A Tale of Two Countries: 20 Investment Themes for the Next Decade) - Part II

This is a collaborative report between Dylan Waller and Douglas Kim . This is Part II of our report:Vietnam Vs. Korea (A Tale of Two Countries: 20 Investment Themes for the Next Decade). In Part II of our report, we highlight the remaining 10 investment themes for Korea and Vietnam, respectively in the next decade. We also discuss the top 10 investment risks of Korea as well as the "best-of-breed" stocks among the Korean companies that are key beneficiaries of the 20 investment themes in the next decade. These 14 best-of-breed stocks in Korea with positive sales and operating profit growth from 2014 to 1H16 on average have crushed the KOSPI index in the past two and half years. These 14 stocks were up on average 119.3% from January 2, 2014 to September 5, 2016. KOSPI index was up just 1.4% during this period.
