<p>Nonfarm payrolls rose 209,000 in July with private payrolls up 205,000.  The unemployment rate slipped to 4.3% in July from 4.4% in June (although the labor force participation rate rose to 62.9% from 62.8%, household employment surged 345,000).  The U6 underemployment rate, which includes part-time workers for economic reasons and people marginally attached to the labor force, was unchanged at 8.6%.</p><p>Average hourly earnings rose 0.3% in July and year-over-year wage growth was steady at 2.5%…</p>
