<h2>About RBI Radar</h2>We are glad to introduce a new Monthly Product focused on Indian Banks  – The RBI Radar.The RBI Radar will be based on the sector level data published regularly by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It will highlight the key trends in the Loan and Deposit growth of  Indian banks and also the key monetary policy actions, as and when announced, by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).The objective of The RBI Radar is to bring to you broader trends in the Indian Banking sector which could be a pointer to the bigger themes playing out.<h3>Early signs in April 2021</h3>The latest published data by the Reserve Bank of  India (RBI) for the month of April 2021, points to two encouraging trends - i) Reducing divergence between the credit and deposit growth of banks and ii) a pick-up in the incremental Credit-to Deposit ratio of Banks. Though encouraging ,these are very early pointers, and it would be interesting to see if they can play out on a sustained basis. In which case it would augur well for the Indian Banking sector
