<h2>PPH Thought leaders conference</h2>
Despite the headline stating that PPH was ‘taking time to reflect on lesson learnt, risks taken and new ideas attempted’ there was very little new content of interest to the investment community. This was a round table conference of church technology related leaders discussing how the church would adapt to COVID-19 and the part technology may have to play in that change. There may however be some clues as to where PPH may look to expand its product offering to next, based around what churches want: leveraging the use of data, improved church communication strategies, long term live streaming and greater content personalisation. The below contributors may also give an indication of other angles of commerce PPH may look to be involved with going forward such as advisory/funding/church real estate.

<li>Clearly churches have had to come up with new innovative ways of keeping congregations engaged, mostly through technology</li>
<li>While ‘digital’ was a nice to have before, clearly it has now become a ‘must have’ and will continue to be going forward</li>
<li>Church congregations are no longer limited by the capacity of buildings</li>
<li>Data and analytics may play a large part in keep engagement high with ‘home church’ congregations</li>
<li>Increased congregations are partly driven by the increase in home church where people are trying church for the first time (and not ashamed to be seen going to a physical church building)</li>
<li>The panel saw COVID-19 as a disrupter not an interruption for church technology going forward, and a result creating new opportunities with a number of new companies birthed</li>
<li>Historically congregations have been bombarded with links, events, push notifications for everything, with little personal relevance or segmentation</li>
