<p><br>MGM China’s poor H1/20 results were unsurprising, given the continued sector weakness. The key to an industry recovery lies in the resumption of Chinese tourist visas, which management believes could occur by mid-September or earlier. Yesterday, Macau announced the resumption of tourist visas from August 12th onwards for visitors from the neighbouring city of Zhuhai. We believe this is another step towards the gradual lifting of border restrictions between Macau and Guangdong. Meanwhile, the company has sufficient liquidity to sustain 22 months of cash burn, assuming the worst-case scenario of minimal revenue for a prolonged period. It also has no debt maturities until 2024. </p>
