Standard Malaysian Rubber (SMR) 20 prices may be edging back toward the $1900 level by later this month as 2021 domestic rubber production drop and hot weather over the days ahead could tighten supply. Over the past week, SMR 20 prices in the physical market rose by around 4%, with offers reaching briefly at US$1880/mt FOB Klang/, data from Helixtap shows.
