<p>China has released key economic targets at the spring 2017 National People’s Congress in Beijing.  Most of the numbers are widely in keeping in line with ongoing trends, but there are two numbers that stick out to us that we believe are worth highlighting and how they fit into the broader picture.  We are focused on the fiscal deficit and CPI target focusing today on the fiscal deficit.</p><p>Beijing has set the fiscal deficit target at 2.6% of GDP and CPI at 3%.  Both of these numbers seem problematic…</p>
