Toyotal has just announced that it will buy back around 290m (around 2% of the stock) of its own shares from MS&AD, Tokio Marine, MUFG and SMFG. In addition, toyota will sell around 3% of MS&AD stock back to MS&AD. The banks and insurers will still own around 6% of Toyota after the sale and Toyotal will still own around 6% of MS&AD.
