Indo Rubber Diverted To China As Arbitrage Window Widens

The widening spread between Thai and Indo rubber has reopened the arbitrage economics between Indonesia and China. As a result, despite the limited movement of Indonesian rubber into the Chinese market traditionally, a few delayed cargoes have been diverted to China, leading to a 13% rise in exports in September 2022 compared to August.
