<ul><li>Hallenstein Glasson (HLG) reported a solid 1H24 trading update, with sales more resilient than we had been expecting.</li><li>The recent trading update also highlights a progressive improvement in sales rates; from -6% at its eight week trading update during its FY23 result, to -5% at its AGM 19 week trading update, to now being flat through the half.</li><li>The direction of travel is particularly positive given cost of living pressures and general consumer weakness in NZ and Australia. </li></ul>
