The company is owned by DoubleU Games in Korea, having been purchased in 2017 from IGT of the US, which itself had purchased DDI in 2012 when social games were booming. While DDI has attempted to broaden its portfolio from just the DoubleDown Casino game, they have met with limited success leaving the company as a single product company. A single 10-year-old product company in the social gaming space. That is not a great recipe for success but there is more… below.</p>
