Technical Analysis View: 2016 has produced a series of higher highs / higher lows that imply price has shifted to a sustainable uptrend. We target a test of LT resistance at 16.00/20 (10%+) in the next 3 months.Price Action: The price action of the past 1 year takes the form of a rounded bottom, typical of the end of a major downtrend. Consistent higher highs / higher lows since January 2016 constitute an interim uptrend structure implying that the current upswing is sustainable on a multi-month basis. A break above the October 2015 high of 14.76 will be further evidence of this sustainability.Momentum: LT momentum failed to make a new lows with price at the LT downtrend low of 2016. This is typical of a major MT/LT low. The subsequent positive LT momentum shift is the most impulsive positive shift since 2007 and justifies a material positive correction / reversal.
