Chandra Asri’s Q1/20 results were much weaker than expected, owing to a sharp drop in demand and petrochemical spreads. Revenues took a hit while profitability plunged. The financial risk profile deteriorated significantly. That said, liquidity remains sound. We expect negative rating pressure. In our view, the financial risk profile has deteriorated to a level inconsistent with Ba3/BB- ratings.
