Anton Oilfield posted weak FY 2020 results, with profitability down y-o-y owing to: [1] the pandemic's impact on project execution in overseas markets; [2] lower industry capex, given the drop in oil prices (again due to COVID-19); and [3] the company's high operating leverage. Still, the financial risk profile remained relatively modest and under control. Liquidity is adequate. We expect a significantly better FY 2021, underpinned by: [1] China’s oil and gas self-sufficiency policy; [2] better control of the pandemic amid vaccine rollouts globally; [3] the apparent recovery in oil prices; and [4] the low base in 2020. We revise our LARA to “High Risk” from “Very High Risk”, given the robust domestic market, better-controlled COVID-19 situation, and apparent uptrend in oil prices.
