However, given the nature of the provisions of the newly proposed regulations on online lending, we believe that this alone might not be sufficient to make Ant attractive again in the eyes of investors. Ant will also need to find a way to fight off the incoming regulations if it wants to continue to leverage the Chinese consumer credit boom.</p>
