Lucror Analytics is a leading credit and ESG research specialist and a provider of technology solutions for differentiated fixed income strategies. This month, we undertake a study of movements in the Lucror Analytics Risk Assessment (LARA) for issuers in the Lucror Asia HY index over the last five years. The Asia Monthly focuses on providing updates on recent events, information on new issues and spread movements, as well as summarising our top picks, and discussing specific areas of interest in the “In-Focus” section. The Asia Monthly is intended to broaden investors' understanding of the Asian USD high-yield market.

<li>Unsurprisingly, the independent expert (IE) considers <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/crown-resorts-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:808:1" rel="noopener">Crown Resorts (CWN AU)</a>'s A$13.10 offer from <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/blackstone-group-inc" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:27166:1" rel="noopener">Blackstone Group (BX US)</a> to be fair and reasonable. We think that IE’s valuation approach is sound.  </li>
<li>The key condition is approval from shareholders and gaming regulatory authorities. The scheme meeting is scheduled for 29 April. </li>
<li>We continue to think that offer is attractive. At the last close price and for the 12 May implementation date, the gross and annualised spread is 2.7% and 27.1%, respectively.</li>

We continue to think that offer is attractive. At the last close price and for the 12 May implementation date, the gross and annualised spread is 2.7% and 27.1%, respectively.

<li>The key conditions precedent for the Blackstone deal are shareholder, gaming regulatory and FIRB approval. The scheme meeting is targeted to be held before the end of June 2022.</li>
<li>At the last close price of A$12.58, the gross and annualised spread for a 30 June implementation is 4.1% and 16.94%, respectively. </li>
