Fashion E-Commerce Has Watershed Year in 2020

<p>Only 35 new SCs are expected to open this year, the lowest number in more than two decades and five of these will be rebuilds of other shopping facilities. At the same time, the character of new malls is changing, with dining making up 24% of new sales last year, up nine points, and merchandise tenancies accounting for only just over half. There are serious implications for the wider retail industry, particularly fashion and lifestyle specialty chains.</p>

<p>The results of the JPX Nikkei 400 review have been announced. There are 32 inclusions and 27 deletions to bring the number of constituents back to 400 and the changes will be effective after the close of trading on 27 November.</p><p>The index review is normally effective after the close of trading on  the second last trading day in August, but was postponed by 3 months this year because of the extension given to companies to file their annual reports and quarterly reports to 30 September owing to COVID-19.</p><p>These are the stocks that have been included and excluded from the index.</p><table class="table table-striped">
