It started with a selldown of Denso Corp (6902 JP), then Toyota Industries (6201 JP), now Aisin. Last FY, Toyota Group cos reduced crossholdings by ¥870bn. This year will be more.

Toyota has a shareholding in around 60 listed companies, with its combined disposable stake worth over US$26bn.

Toyota Cross-Shareholding - To Say a Whole Lot Is Left Would Be a US$26bn Understatement

<li>An interview in the <strong><a href="https://www.nikkei.com/article/DGXZQOUC05BL30V00C24A7000000/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nikkei</a></strong> of <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/koito-manufacturing-co-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:15841:1" rel="noopener">Koito Manufacturing (7276 JP)</a> CFO Takahito OTAKE offered the comment that Koito Mfg expected a shareholder return of 130% a year through March 2029.</li>
<li>The stock popped 19% after lunch on that comment, then fell back to end up 5.0%.</li>
<li>This is the same pop as we saw end-March. Then it was +24.6% and it stayed up the next day. Same reason for the pop. This was an echo.</li>

An interview in the Nikkei of Koito Manufacturing (7276 JP) CFO Takahito OTAKE offered the comment that Koito Mfg expected a shareholder return of 130% a year through March 2029.

Japan

NIFCO INC. manufactures synthetic resinous fasteners and plastic components for automobiles and home electronic appliances.  The Company has its subsidiaries in Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US.

NOK CORPORATION manufactures oil seals and industrial rubber products for automobiles.  The Company also produces electronic equipment used for cellular phones and PCs.  NOK has production facilities in Taiwan and Thailand.

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. manufactures automobile and motorcycle tires, industrial rubber products and sports equipment.  The Company's products include golf balls, tennis rackets, rubber gloves, and artificial turf. Sumitomo Rubber sells its products under Dunlop brand around the world.

TS TECH CO., LTD. manufactures seats for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. The Company also produces other automobile accessories.

Toyo Tire Corporation manufactures and markets rubber and chemical goods.  The Company's products include motor vehicle tires, aluminum alloy wheels, office equipment parts, heat resistant board, and automobile parts such as bumpers and air bag systems.  Toyo Tire & Rubber has its  subsidiaries in the  US, Australia, Canada, Germany, and China.

NHK SPRING CO., LTD. manufactures springs for automobiles and electronic equipment.  The Company's products are used for suspension, engine valves, seats, and hard disk drives(HDD).

TOYOTA BOSHOKU CORPORATION manufactures automobile parts and textile products. The Company provides automobile interior components such as seats, door trims, headliners, carpets, and other interior products as well as exterior components such as bumpers and fender liners. TOYOTA BOSHOKU also manufactures air filters, oil filters as well as seat fabrics and high-performance uniforms.

Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. manufactures lighting equipment including head lights, HID (High Intensity Discharge) assist lamps, and rear combination lamps for automobiles.  The Company also produces LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) and LED (Light Emitted Diode) lamps for communication equipment, office automation equipment, and information displays.

EXEDY Corporation manufactures drivetrain products for automobiles, industrial vehicles, and construction machinery.  The Company's products include manual clutches, torque converters, power shift transmissions, and hydraulic clutches. Exedy has its subsidiaries in South Korea, Australia, the US and the UK.

The Yokohama Rubber Company Limited produces rubber products including automobile tires, tubes, and conveyor belt for industrial use.  The Company also produces golf clubs and passenger aircraft parts such as restroom units and tanks for drinking water.

Dana Incorporated engineers, manufactures, and distributes components and systems for worldwide automotive, heavy truck, off-highway, engine, and industrial markets. The Company also provides leasing services in selected markets.

Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery Co.,Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets steel plate oil cooler, concentric oil cooler, shell and tube oil cooler. The company's products are used in automobile engine systems and automatic transmission systems.

The Company's products include air conditioners, heaters, cooling modules, compressors, radiators, fans, evaporators, and condensers. Hanon Systems distributes its products on an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) basis.

LCI Industries manufactures recreational vehicles and equipment. The Company offers toolboxes, truck caps, running boards, side-outs, mattresses, alignment systems, shock absorber, power stabilizer jacks, baggage doors, and sliders. LCI Industries markets its products worldwide.

Wanxiang Qianchao Co., Ltd. manufactures and markets a variety of auto parts. The Company's products include universal joints, car vibration absorbers, transmission systems, bearings, and other related parts.  Wanxiang also trades merchandises.

Asahi India Glass Limited manufactures automotive safety glass and float glass. The Company's product range includes laminated windshields, tempered glass, silver printed defogger glass, black ceramic printed flush fitting glass and PVC-encapsulated fixed glass.

Gentherm Inc. designs, develops, and manufactures heating, cooling, and ventilating devices for diverse global markets.  The Company offers heated seating, climate seating, electronics, and cables. for the automotive markets.

Tong Yang Industry Co., Ltd. manufactures and markets automobile and motorcycle parts such as bumpers, windshields, grilles, fenders, hoods, and light frames. The Company exports its products to North America, Europe, Central and South Americas, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Mahindra CIE Automotive Limited designs, manufactures, installs, and repairs automotive components. The Company manufactures automotive components including engine and steering components as well as various other forged metal products.

Toyoda Gosei Co Ltd manufactures resin and rubber parts for automobiles. The Company's products include instrument panel modules, spoilers, weather-strip brake hoses, air bag systems, and steering wheels. The Company has offices in the US, Canada, China, Taiwan, and the UK. Toyoda Gosei also produces lightemitting diode (LEDs) for cellular phones and digital cameras.
