<p>The month of February saw 301 new homes (excluding executive condominiums) sold by developers, a 22.8% decline from the 390 new homes sold in February 2015, and a 6.8% decline from the 323 new homes sold in January this year. With Chinese New Year festivities happening during the month of February, buyers might not be actively seeking for new properties, but how will sales pan out in the next few months is a big question for many especially with reports of job losses, stock market volatilities dominating the major headlines.</p>

We use what we believe is the most comprehensive, reliable financials database, SNL Financial. S&P Capital IQ augments our database, with corporate data and CEIC, with economics.
