Road Kingâ€™s FY 2019 results were weaker than expected, owing to the reduced margins. The pace of land acquisitions also picked up, resulting in weaker leverage. In FY 2020, Road Kingâ€™s recurring income from toll-roads might decline c. 20%, owing to the governmentâ€™s suspension of toll fees since February 17th. That said, we believe recurring income should still cover a third of interest expenses. We also expect the toll-free policy to cease soon, given that China has largely contained the COVID-19 outbreak and is gradually returning to normalcy.
