23 May 2016 - Peak Sport announced a trading halt pending the release of an announcement pursuant to the HK Takeovers and Mergers Code.25 May 2016 - Ever Sound Development Limited, the Company’s controlling shareholder, has informed the Peak Sport that it is in the preliminary phase of considering proposing a scheme of arrangement which, if proceeded with, could result in the privatisation and delisting of the Company from the Stock Exchange. In this insight, we consider the likelihood of a binding agreement and estimate the offer price that could be tabled.Peak Sport was incorporated in the Cayman Islands; as such, rules and regulations for a scheme will be slightly different from HK incorporated companies.
