Equity Bottom-Up

<ul><li>DBS, OCBC and UOB have booked S$500 million in combined net institutional inflow for the 2024 year through to 23 May.</li><li>Combined net interest income (NII) for the trio was S$8.3 billion in 1QFY24, the sixth consecutive quarter combined NII surpassed S$8.0 billion, and up 46% from the combined S$5.7 billion in 4QFY19.</li><li>This compares to the trio averaging 5.8% total returns for the full 2023 year, with S$2.5 billion of combined net institutional outflow.</li></ul>

DBS, OCBC and UOB have booked S$500 million in combined net institutional inflow for the 2024 year through to 23 May.Combined net interest income (NII) for the trio was S$8.3 billion in 1QFY24, the sixth consecutive quarter combined NII surpassed S$8.0 billion, and up 46% from the combined S$5.7 billion in 4QFY19.This compares to the trio averaging 5.8% total returns for the full 2023 year, with S$2.5 billion of combined net institutional outflow.

STI Banks Book S$500M YTD Net Institutional Inflows

<ul><li>Institutions were net buyers of Singapore stocks over the four trading sessions through to May 2, with S$12.9 million of net institutional inflow, as 17 primary-listed companies conducted buybacks with a total consideration of S$28.4 million.</li><li>Leading the net institutional inflow over the four sessions were DBS, UOB, Seatrium, City Developments, UOL Group, iFast Corporation, Singapore Tech Engineering, Singapore Exchange, Cortina Holdings, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust and Hongkong Land Holdings.</li><li>For the month of April, Singapore stocks booked S$225 million of net institutional inflow, following S$1.15 billion of net institutional outflow in Q1.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Sam Goi continues to boost his stakes in PSC and GSH INSTITUTIONS were net sellers of Singapore stocks over the four trading sessions from Apr 5 to 11, with S$44 million of net institutional outflow, as 21 primary-listed companies conducted buybacks with a total consideration of S$25 million.</li><li>He acquired 144,700 shares of the company at S$0.352 per share, taking his total interest from 30.74 per cent to 30.77 per cent.</li><li>Goi also bought more shares of GSH Corporation, where he also serves as executive chairman.</li></ul>
