<p>In this insight, we take a look back at the HDB and the non-landed private residential market, to understand how the market has moved: </p><ul><li>In the HDB resale market, transaction volumes have seen strong improvements over 2015, but prices have largely remained flat in the first three quarters of the year.</li><li>In the non-landed private residential market, transaction volumes are showing signs of improvements, but prices continue to decline.</li><li>2016 was a period of right-pricing, with sellers pricing closer to buyer expectations.</li><li>Improvement in transaction volumes also indicate that buyers have accepted cooling measures as the new normal, and are working within them, rather than waiting for them to be lifted before purchasing</li></ul>

We saw developers sold 1,252 units of new homes (ex-ECs), 148% increase month-on-month and 128% increase year-on-year.
