<ul><li>Over the past 4 weeks, the iEdge S-REIT Index declined 2.1% after a rally anticipating the 50 bps rate cut on Sep 18, with a total 3Q24 gain of 17.5%.</li><li>The S-REIT Sector is now among the top four Singapore stock sectors for net institutional inflows since June 30.</li><li>Mapletree Logistics Trust has seen the fifth highest net institutional inflow within the Sector, while Suntec REIT, Keppel DC REIT and Acrophyte Hospitality Trust make up the five trusts with the highest 2H24 to Oct 15 net institutional inflow.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Institutions were net sellers of Singapore stocks over the five trading sessions spanning Sep 20 to 26, with S$54 million of net institutional outflow, reducing total net inflows from the 20 trading sessions spanning Aug 30 (which included MSCI Index rebalancing) through to Sep 26, to S$1.165 billion.</li><li>Leading the net institutional outflow over the five sessions through to Sep 26 were Singapore Telecommunications, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings, CapitaLand Investment, Singapore Exchange, Mapletree Logistics Trust, Capitaland Ascendas REIT, City Developments, Jardine Cycle & Carriage, Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust and Mapletree Industrial Trust.</li><li>Between Sep 24 and 25, Raffles Medical Group executive chairman Loo Choon Yong acquired 2.15 million shares at S$0.89 per share.</li></ul>

Mapletree Industrial Trust / Equity Bottom-Up

<ul><li>In JTC’s latest market report for the second quarter of 2024, it noted that industrial rents rose 1 per cent quarter on quarter, recording the slowest rate of increase since Q1 2022 following the Covid-pandemic recovery.</li><li>On a year-on-year (yoy) basis, industrial rents are still up 6.6 per cent.</li><li>Overall occupancy rates rose 0.3 percentage point to 89 per cent as new demand continues to outpace supply increases.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Institutions were net sellers of Singapore stocks over the five trading sessions to Aug 1, with S$115 million of net institutional outflow, following the similar pace of S$95 million of net outflow for the preceding five sessions to Jul 26.</li><li>The five sessions to Aug 1 also saw 11 primary-listed companies conduct buybacks with a total consideration of S$6.4 million.</li><li>For context, in FY2023 and FY2022, the net profit attributable to shareholders came to S$8.3 million and $13.4 million, respectively.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Institutions were net sellers of Singapore stocks over the five trading sessions through to Jun 6, with S$106.8 million of net institutional outflow, as 17 primary-listed companies conducted buybacks with a total consideration of S$55.8 million.</li><li>Leading the net institutional outflow over the five sessions were City Developments Ltd, Seatrium, Mapletree Logistics Trust, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust, Genting Singapore , Jardine Cycle & Carriage, NetLink NBN Trust, Golden Agri-Resources, Venture Corporation and Raffles Medical Group.</li><li>With a consideration of S$315,000, this increased his total interest in the regional premium real estate group from 74.86 to 74.97 per cent.</li></ul>
