<p>On 29 Jan after market close, Hokuriku Electric Power (HEP) <a href="http://www.rikuden.co.jp/press/attach/15012903.pdf" target="_blank">announced </a>a partial TOB for its subsidiary Hokuriku Electrical Construction (1930 JP; HEC), to increase its stake to 50.10% from the current 30.36%. The target has endorsed the offer, but has not provided a recommendation to its shareholders whether or not to accept.</p>
