In this insight, we take a look at the names leading the race to become ADDs/DELETEs for the DAX, MDAX, and SDAX Indices in the December 2023 Rebalance.
Currently, I see two index changes for the MDAX index and two index changes for the SDAX index.
I do not see any changes for the DAX index in December 2023.

<li>I currently do not see any index changes for DAX but <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/fresenius-medical-care-ag-co" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:21622:1" rel="noopener">Fresenius Medical Care &amp; (FME GR)</a> and <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/zalando-se" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:21746:1" rel="noopener">Zalando (ZAL GR)</a> are close to being an ADD and DELETE respectively.</li>
<li>I see one change for the MDAX index. Separately, there could be up to three SDAX change in the run up to the December 2023 review including one intra-review change.</li>

In this insight, we take a look at the names leading the race to become ADDs/DELETEs for the DAX, MDAX, and SDAX Indices in the September 2023 Rebalance.
I currently do not see any index changes for DAX but Fresenius Medical Care &amp; (FME GR) and Zalando (ZAL GR) are close to being an ADD and DELETE respectively.
I see one change for the MDAX index. Separately, there could be up to three SDAX change in the run up to the December 2023 review including one intra-review change.

<div>HHLA’s share price outperformed DAX index of Frankfurt and DPI in 2019. The company plays to its strength in container port handling in a particularly stable market, but the pace of growth is punctuated by a litany of macro headwinds and uncertainties. However, the pliability of its core operations is not in doubt as the intermodal segment has gradually grown in volume, driving the top line. The key upside case to our valuation is deepening of the river Elbe channel which is expected to give way to deeper draft and seeming growth from the Estonian terminal. However, we believe an unripe diversification strategy, away from container handling, could have a slightly negative impact as volumes come under pressure. Nevertheless, the stock trades at attractive 7.8x EV/EBITDA TTM compared with the peer average of 11x. We believe the stock to be attractive despite intemperate macro headwinds. </div>
