Tourism & Hospitality stocks poised to benefit from F1 and large scale events in coming months

<ul><li>Singapore’s 100 most traded stocks by trading turnover this year comprise as many as 16 stocks representing the Industrials Sector, which include seven STI constituents.</li><li>While the 100 most actively traded stocks this year booked close to S$230 million of net institutional outflow in July, the contingent of 16 Industrials stocks booked S$74 million of net institutional inflow, with Seatrium, ComfortDelGro, SATS, SingPost and YZJ Shipbldg leading the net inflow.</li><li>For the month of July the Singapore stock market booked net institutional outflow in the vicinity of S$220 million, bringing the total net institutional outflow for the past seven months to S$2.9 billion.</li></ul>

Singapore’s 100 most traded stocks by trading turnover this year comprise as many as 16 stocks representing the Industrials Sector, which include seven STI constituents.While the 100 most actively traded stocks this year booked close to S$230 million of net institutional outflow in July, the contingent of 16 Industrials stocks booked S$74 million of net institutional inflow, with Seatrium, ComfortDelGro, SATS, SingPost and YZJ Shipbldg leading the net inflow.For the month of July the Singapore stock market booked net institutional outflow in the vicinity of S$220 million, bringing the total net institutional outflow for the past seven months to S$2.9 billion.

Industrial Sector Led Institutional Fund Inflows in July

<ul><li>On the move in early July, the STI posted a 2.1% decline during the first week, and a 3.5% gain the following week.</li><li>STI stocks that posted gains over each of the two weeks included UOL, SATS, Singapore Airlines and City Developments.</li><li>Among the 100 most traded Singapore- listed stocks this year, there were another 17 stocks that posted gains in each of the first two weeks of July, with one-third of these stocks representing the Industrials Sector: Acesian Partners, SingPost, ComfortDelGro, Dyna-Mac and Samudera Shipping, in addition to the aforementioned Singapore Airlines and SATS.</li></ul>

SATS Limited provides integrated ground handling and in-flight catering services at Singapore Changi Airport.  The Company also provides aviation security, airline laundry, and airport cargo delivery management services.

Samudera Shipping Line Limited owns and operates ocean-going ships and provides containerized feeder shipping services. Through its subsidiaries, the Company also owns and charters vessels, provides sea and air freight forwarding, and operates shipping agency and container freight station services.

Marco Polo Marine Limited is an integrated shipping company. The Company provides services that include ship chartering, ship building and repair, and brokering services.

Penguin International Limited operates as an integrated marine and offshore services company. The Company specializes in design, construction, and operation of high-speed aluminum ships. Penguin International owns and operates a fleet of vessels as well as aluminum shipbuilding yards. Penguin International serves customers worldwide.

Keppel Infrastructure Trust is a listed business trust that provides investors with the opportunity to invest in a large and well-diversified portfolio of core infrastructure assets located in jurisdictions with well-developed legal frameworks that support infrastructure investment. Shenzhen Yan Tian Port Holding Co. Ltd. operates as holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, offers highway operation business, wharfs development and operation, cargo handling and transportation, and other businesses. Shenzhen Yan Tian Port Holding provides importing and exporting services.

Guangshen Railway Company Limited provides railroad passenger, freight transportation, railway facilities, and technical services.  The Company also sells food, beverages and merchandise on aboard and in train stations.

STEF S.A. is involved with the transportation and logistics of products that require controlled temperatures.  The Company ships fresh and frozen foods such as meat and fish. The group also distributes pharmaceuticals.

Keio Corporation mainly provides rail and bus transportation services for passengers in the Kanto area.  The Company leases real estate and operates department stores and supermarkets.  Keio also operates hotels in the Shinjuku and Sapporo areas.

ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited provides bus, taxi, car leasing and rental, automotive engineering, maintenance services, and diesel sales.  The Group also provides investment trading and operates vehicle inspection and assessment services, and advertising services.
