The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released today the key data for May, related to property sales and investments by developers at a national level, showing a slight pickup in new home (residential gross floor area for "commercial residential" property) sales growth to +2.3%, compared to +2.2% in April, on a 12M rolling Y/Y basis. New starts and overall land acquisition growth accelerated and investment stayed at the same growth pace.
