<p><strong>EGAT</strong> is the state-owned power company that controls over half of the electricity generation capacity in Thailand as well as two of the country's biggest IPPs: Ratchaburi and EGCO. Other listed assets include the North Bangkok power plant (EGATIF) and Eastwater, an EGCO investment for industrial power. In this review, we explain the basics of Thai power industry and highlight why we like Ratchaburi best. Power is by far the most defensive sector in Thailand, and no one dominates it more than this Group.</p>

CAO, the largest capitalised stock of Singapore’s Energy Sector is scheduled to report 3Q16 results Wednesday.</strong></li><li><strong>Two of the 10 largest capitalised Energy stocks, Geo Energy Resources and KrisEnergy also ranked amongst the 10 actively traded stocks that saw the biggest increase in their October traded volume, compared to respective three month average volumes. You will be equally surprised that the family has dabbled in insurance (Royal Sun &amp; Alliance) and even has links to the founders of Kiatnakin Phatra, an investment bank that has gained a great deal of spotlight lately...and of course, the timing for this review couldn't be better. On 12 August,  Geo Energy Group reported that for the six months ending 30 June 2016, company revenue was US$33 million compared to US$10 million for the same period a year ago.</strong></p>
