Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, conducted a series of block trades during which a total of 28.3m shares of <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/18708" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:18708:1">Tata Consultancy Svcs Ltd (TCS IN)</a>, or 1.5% of the total outstanding shares, changed hands to raise USD 1.38bn for the group. The deal was initially marketed at a discount of 4.17-5.9% implying a range of INR 2,872-2,925. As of December 2017, Tata Sons holding in TCS was 73.5%.
