Gene Techno Science - A Secret Worth Sharing?

Monday night after the close, small cap <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/3091" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:3091">Noritsu Koki Co Ltd</a> (7744 JP) announced a 3rd party equity injection and a subsequent tender offer for a company called <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/5940" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:5940">Gene Techno Science Co Ltd</a> (4584 JP). There is no minimum and no maximum. They will buy all shares tendered at 3,000 yen/share. The tender starts mid-April and ends at the end of May. The buyer is a small cap ($200mm). The target is a small cap ($70mm).  But there a fair bit more to this than meets the eye.<ul><li>For arbitrageurs, it is worth a look.</li><li>For value players who really like an interesting small cap story with some change and catalyst involved, there is potentially a LOT more here.</li></ul> More below the fold for subscribers...
